FBS Membership Awards

The Foreign Breed Society will be introducing Hi-Point Awards from 2017, open to all Foreign Breed Society members.

These are open to ANY foreign breed and we have 3 divisions - In Hand, Performance and Open.

In Hand: points can be earned in any Foreign Breed / World Breed or Breed specific in hand class (e.g. Lusitano In Hand). ONLY these classes count for the In Hand Awards. Don't forget if the in hand class is only open to Foreign Breeds then it counts in this catergory, even if it is not titled as a foreign breed class (e.g. "In Hand Coloured" that is only open to Foreign Breeds - for example at our Championship Show).

Peformance: points can be earned in any Foreign Breed / World Breed or Breed specific Ridden or Harness classes (e.g. Morgan Pleasure). ONLY these classes count for the Performance Awards. Don't forget if the Ridden class is only open to Foreign Breeds then it counts in this catergory, even if it is not titled as a foreign breed class (e.g. "Ridden Saddle Horse Type" that is only open to Foreign Breeds - for example at our Championship Show).

Open: points can be earned in all other classes (in hand, ridden or harness) EXCEPT for Foreign Breed / World Breed or Breed specific classes. Only NON-Foreign Breed classes count towards the Open Award.

Cards are available for purchase, and points can be earned once the card has been obtained (you will need to get it signed at each show you attend). Please complete the Hi Points section of the membership form above and send it to info@foreignbreeds.org along with payment. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer

Full results will be printed in our Annual at the end of each year and awards will be made to 10th place in each section.
